IRS UPDATE UNITED STATES VS. INDIANAPOLIS BAPTIST TEMPLE

High officials of the U.S. Justice department have ordered Federal Marshall Frank Anderson to seize a 50-year-old main line Baptist Church before George W. Bush is sworn into office.

IBT is now in its 56th day of its peaceful Redress of Grievance. Nearly 200 members and supporters slept at the Church last night.

Letters to President Clinton and notes from children asking to be allowed back into their school that was housed in the Church have been ignored.

Sarah Evans Barker Federal Judge for the Southern District of Indiana, Indianapolis, ordered the Church to vacate the buildings by High noon on November 14, 2000 AD. The order was given to satisfy alleged uncollected and unpaid 941 withholding, FICA/Medicare taxes, for those who served in the Church ministry from 1987-1993. This amount including penalties and interest has increased from $200,000 to $6 million dollars.

The news media have been ordered off of the parking lot along with the cars of supporters.

The media has also been told that they will have to leave when the raid begins. Also no filming by the members or supporters will be allowed.
