You can, if you chose to do so, confine paranoia to links to the problems associated with Doomsday or you can get past that and foment creative solutions. So, you can "free associate" all you want but proactivity is the citizen's manifest. I define a new Renaissance as an expansion of what humanity can potentially become - a collective choice made without the influence of God or a Second Coming or an Unholy Trinity. I call this choice a One World Feeling - the Renaissance as a solution for ALL people. Recall that the human genome project has shown only a ~0.01 percent in the genetic difference between races. We are all One People. Some immediately accuse me of New Age but I ask those who do to consider that I define Renaissance as a meld of science and spirituality. The science that I favor is quantum mechanics - the theory of everything as it applies to the human mind. The spirituality that I favor is humanity's ability to abstract - to premeditate both the rationale and the feeling associated with the emergence of a One World bent on solving One World problems. From what I understand, for example, most Arabs and Jews in Jerusalem get along - how quickly war focuses away from global issues. It used to be that sticks and stones were tossed within a background of only guns. Now sticks and stones are being tossed in the background of nuclear weapons; chemical and bioweapons; and sophisicated conventional weapons. Where then is the sophistication of peacebuilding? Why is the military industry so much more elaborate than a peacebuilding industry? Every act of the violence in the Middle East effects everyone else on this planet; we need to premeditate a lasting peace of nations and so, I rest my case here at RuMills.
