The house seat that I was a campaign treasurer for created somewhat of a local scandal. The seat was won by a democrat and the republican demanded a recount. After the recount, the election was ruled invalid due to the fact that several people who had died years ealier had voted democratic, and another election was scheduled. Who would have thought? What to do, what to do? We at the libertarian campaign headquarters immediately scrambled to get as many campaign fliers as possible out to the local cemetaries. But to no avail, we still came in last.
