THE PRICE OF APPLES

The REAL CURRENCY is SEEDS. If you doubt this just try planting a dollar bill and see what happens (or doesn't happen). But plant an apple seed and with care, you will eventually have something of REAL VALUE, a delicious, nourishing, life-delivery system called “An Apple”! In the approaching times an Apple can mean the difference between life and death.

Imagine you are on a ship crossing the Pacific Ocean and suddenly it explodes and starts to sink. There are two bags in your cabin. One is filled with money, the other is filled with apples. Which one would you grab?

If you are a International Financier you would probably grab the bag of money. With fire licking at your behind you leap overboard clutching tightly to your toupee and your bag of money. Clinging to flotsam and your bag of money, confident in your imminent rescue, you find yourself alone, and afloat for a lot longer than you dare to think about. Your hand is frozen in a death grip on your money bag. Even if you wanted to you could not let it go. You continue to drift and eventually wash up on a tiny desert island. It is nothing but a little patch of dirt and sand. You crawl out of the ocean dragging your money bag and, after checking it for water damage, you sit there, alone, and wait. And wait, and wait, and wait.

Meanwhile, back at the sunken ship, after a cursory search, you are presumed dead. Rather than waste the stockholders money, the search is called off and to Wall Street you have ceased to exist. The world you banked on no longer exists for you. The future you lived for has, in turn, obliterated you by the very rules you yourself slavishly obeyed: The Rules of Profit and The Bottom Line.

As you sit there with your bag of money you realize that with all your knowledge of corporate banking and high finance you failed to understand the value of an apple. Hell for you is remembering to the end of your days, the bag of apples you left behind.
