A search conducted using http://www.searchmil.com for the phrase "Philadelphia Experiment" turns up a page full of U.S.Navy FAQs and other refs to the purported experiment. Of interest is a digest of logs from the U.S.S. Eldridge.

I think you must be right about choosing Eldridge because of its similarity to eldritch.

Wasn't really trying to pimp investment schemes, although that was one of the novel features of the material I posted. No, I haven't checked to see if the company touted in the referenced material exists.

Blacklightpower.com looks interesting, although it's a horrible company name evoking images of black velvet mushroom posters and psychedelic scribblings, unwashed teenagers smelling strongly of patchouli oil, lava lamps, sand candles, and so forth.
