Certainly, she is a liar, a regular practitioner of the "Big Lie" technique: say something often enough and people will believe it, no matter how absurd the claim actually is.

Not long ago I sent a message to the Simon Wiesenthal center concerning the libelous claims in Jana's "Talmudic Tidbits" post of February 26. A few days ago, I got a response. For those who are interrested, I am reproducing the exchange here.

I recently encountered a wildly anti-Semitic article posted on an web-based Internet "Forum" that I would like you to analyze and help to refute.

Please understand that I do not support the suppression of people or sites distributing hateful material. Rather, I believe that the best andidote to mistaken speech is correct (accurate) speech, the best way to deal with "dark areas" is not to seal them off, but to shine light into them.

In that spirit, and since I do not have access to a 35-volume set of the Talmud in order to refute the claims in the attached document, I am hoping that someone in your center can examine it, and can provide point-by-point refutations of the alleged Talmudic quotations it contains. Do the Tractates that it cites in fact exist? Are some of these quotations real but taken out of context - perhaps given as examples of incorrect attitudes? Are they all just made up out of whole cloth?

I hope you will see fit to furnish the kind of analysis I am looking for, so that I may then post it on the forum where this first appeared.
