BATTLEFORWORLD - January 9, 2018: Elon Musk's company SpaceX is in league with the Rothschilds and other longtime allies. The same bunch causing problems in the Middle East and elsewhere. And the same ones inside the European Union and NATO.
Russian Army Repels Attack By 13 Militant Drones On Its Syrian Compounds
RT - January 8, 2018: Russian military have repelled a massive drone attack on its bases in Syria, which was carried out by militants, Moscow said. The extremists may have been aided by a “technologically advanced state,” it added.
The militants launched their assault during the night on Saturday, the ministry said in a statement. The Russian Kheimim Airbase in the Syrian Latakia province was attacked by 10 unmanned combat aerial vehicles, while three more attempted a strike against the Russian maritime logistics base located in the city of Tartus.
All of the drones were detected by anti-aircraft defense systems “at a considerable distance from the Russian military objects,” the ministry said. Seven of them were then successfully shot down by the Russian Panzir-S air-defense system.
It was the “first time that terrorists massively usedunmanned combat aerial vehicles of an aircraft type that were launched from a distance of more than 50 kilometers, and operated using GPS satellite navigation coordinates,” the ministry said in a statement.
The country's specialists are now examining the seized unmanned aircraft and the recovered data has already allowed the specialists to pinpoint the exact location from which the drones were launched. The examination also showed that advanced technologies were used in the drones’ construction. They “could have been obtained only from a country possessing state-of-the-art technologies, including satellite navigation and remote control of … explosive devices [for] release at certain coordinates.” ...

US ‘concerned’ that drones used in attacks on Russian bases in Syria available in ‘open market’
RT - January 9, 2018: The Pentagon said it is “concerned” about weapons falling into terrorists’ hands after Moscow said the drones used in the attacks on Russian bases in Syria could have only been supplied by a “technologically advanced state.”
The Kheimim Airbase and the maritime logistics base in the city of Tartus came under a sophisticated attack Saturday, with terrorists for the first time using state-of-the-art drone technology to target the facilities, the Russian Defense Ministry reported Monday.
The attack, which involved 13 drones, was successfully repelled by Russian anti-aircraft defense systems and electronic warfare specialists who managed to hijack the operating systems of six of the drones, landing three of them. Initial assessments showed the drones “could have been obtained only from a country possessing state-of-the-art technologies, including satellite navigation and remote control of explosive devices [for] release at certain coordinates.”
While Moscow did not mention who the “technologically advanced state” may be, Pentagon spokesman Maj. Adrian Rankin-Galloway appeared to pre-emptively deflect any potential criticism, arguing that “those devices and technologies can easily be obtained in the open market.”
“We have seen this type of commercial UAV technology used to carry out missions by ISIS," he told Sputnik, adding, that the militarization of such devices by the terrorists “is cause for concern.”
Russia has repeatedly warned that US military supplies aimed at propping-up the so-called “moderate” rebels in Syria eventually end up in the hands of terrorists. ...

SpaceX to Launch US Government Mystery Satellite
SPUTNIKNEWS - January 8, 2018: Technology pioneer Elon Musk’s aerospace firm, SpaceX, is preparing to launch a secretive spacecraft for an unnamed branch of the US government this week after postponing the event in November.
Codenamed Zuma, the launch was initially scheduled for November from NASA's Kennedy Space Center at Merritt Island, Florida. SpaceX delayed sending Zuma into space after concerns emerged about the nose cone protecting the payload from dynamic pressure and aerodynamic heating on its way out of the atmosphere.
Multiple media outlets reported that Zuma would take off on Thursday, January 4, but SpaceX pushed the event date back again to Friday at the earliest, the California-based company announced on Twitter.
SpaceX is "targeting [a] January 5 launch of Zuma," the company said Wednesday. ...
