I think some of us have forgotten the mindset behind the previous generations who didn't grow up with computers, and the reference desk librarian. That was the librarian you'd call when you can't figure out something complicated for your report. In those "olden" days, information about the world was equally accessible, and you could grab any book off the shelf to learn things. But today, our poor education, cognitive biases, prejudices and insistence on beliefs that are true without a shred of proof have somewhat warped our ability to have a sense of wonder about the world.

But even the librarian has biases, and you calling the reference desk takes second place to actually being there at the library.

I was severely beaten about the head and body years ago, which left me with amnesia for a short time. But it also shook loose many of the cognitive biases. If you now give me a choice of photos between A or B to try and trap me, I'll insist on answer C because you're trying to trap me with not enough information. It's not about beliefs for me... all the world's data has become equally important. That's why I try not to overhear conversations now due to the lack of certain biases, and getting distracted.

When you get to be middle-aged you think about the simple questions:
- Do you hear yourself?
- What would happen if I recorded your speech for three hours on cassette tape? Are you afraid of that today? Because we willingly did that in the 1970s, just to horse around on tape.
- Do you ever wonder?
- What heritage are you passing down to the next generation?

- Can you camp in the wilderness for two weeks?

The reason I have no fear of my voice being on cassette tape or a digital recording is because no one listens to what I have to say. You end up constantly seeing life repeat itself.

You know the world is getting more stupid when your state for your order is New Mexico and the employee says they can't ship out of the country. Or the hardware store now has to make videos on how to use a tape measure and folding ruler. Wow. Hey Home Depot guy, where are the medallions? Oh right, you don't know. (Those are the flat life preserver shaped things that go behind the ceiling light fixtures.)

What about those granite drilled holes in Abusir, South of Giza, Egypt in the ancient world? Is there any resemblance to Electrical Discharge Milling, or Spark Erosion as seen below?

We should get off our stupid belief systems and biases long enough to realize someone drilled holes in Abusir long ago using a process similar to EDM/spark erosion in granite. Not all the buried structures had to be carved: some of what you see buried has been flooded long ago and turned to stone. Our dinosaur leaders are stuck on stupid, and want you to be also. Just put puzzle pieces of life together on your own. Life doesn't always have to be about rightness and wrongness. But the dinosaurs are threatening to remove those puzzle pieces from you by limiting your internet speed.

Remember the concept behind EDM/spark erosion. Perhaps it can be done with granite and heaps of dielectric fluid.

It doesn't matter what puzzle pieces you put together, but don't think small. You can't be a reference desk librarian if you think the world consists of only a few books you like, and then you tell the caller that the rest of the world is CRAZYTOWN. You have to answer all the people's questions with the same fervor as anyone else. M&M's, S&M, BDSM, every data from books is equally important.

And an earth grid makes more sense if you realize we're living in a simulation... in a concave earth, with an octahedron at the center. The grid lines don't have to move because we don't move. Just remember to wonder, that's all...
