When I spoke to my friend from Pan Am we were looking at a flight map from a tweet, that showed how far they got. By the time the flight turned around (4 hours out of LAX headed to Japan), the closest Airport would have been VanCouver, British Columbia or ALASKA.

Without looking at the map my Pan Am friend said, they would have flown into an Airport in Alaska if there was a crisis of some kind. Obviously that didn't happen.

NO WAY, they would have flown all the back to LAX, bypassing San Francisco Airport, and Seattle Airport and Portland Airports.

I bring this up because some speculate that there might have been a bomb on board or something. (That was the cover story for shutting down the International Terminal at LAX when the flight returned to LAX.)

That couldn't have been the case, or they would have been instructed to fly to the nearest airport that could accommodate a large jet.......which would NOT have been LAX, too many airports closer.

All cover stories.

Bad guys are being tracked and rounded up.

I read at reddit.com tonight, that the criminal offense is greater if they have left U.S. airspace. So whoever was on that plane (sex traffickers??) are going to be locked away for good.
