One woman initially came out....other victims in the shadows saw how she was castigated, eviscerated in public fora and became ANGRY. THEY then came out in support of the initial victim because of the agony of watching her undergo what is known as a "second injury" (by the public calling her a gold digger, liar and worse).

People continued to castigate the new women who came out about Bill and this emboldened the remaining women to go public. there is no secondary gain to women disclosing. They only do so when the punishment (and they are warned in advance to expect the social punishment b/c in our society we victim blame) they will endure is less than what they endure be being silent.

As far as Cosby himself goes? There are NO SUPRISED people in LA or NY. It's not like industry people did not *KNOW*. Plus, there was the earlier action against him for RAPE, with 13 women ready to testify to their experiences in support of the plaintiff which Cosby settled (rather than allow their testimony to become a part of the RECORD)/ The DA felt it was valid. *even*.

I've made the effort to comment on this video because it is unfair to disbelieve all the FACTS which support these women in their claims, especially in light of the viodeo authors ignorance of the effect of trauma upon victims , and instead look for a conspiracy. It's worse than unfair, in this case it borders on the absurd. Occams theorem applies.
