Conditions in African prisons are worse than the treatment of African slaves in the 18th century.

A prison facility designed for 3,000 inmates now houses 15,000, with more than 30 individuals crammed into 9-metre-by-4-metre cells that have barely any toilets, beds, or mattresses. No one disrespects human rights and their citizens more than certain African countries. This bleak reality dangerously fuels the false narrative that our struggles are somehow rooted in genetics.
