Then greedily devour the corpse
Saying it tastes too good to quit
Or we say we need the protein
And are oblivious to the fact that our body makes its own protein from amino acids
And that foreign protein is hard to digest and absorb causing free radicals
We eat arachnoids
Lobsters and crabs
Which are just large spiders living in the sea who have developed a protective shell
We eat shrimp and oysters
Which are just large worms living in the sea
We call these worms and spiders a delicacy
Fish are intelligent beings whose nerve receptors make them more sensitive to pain than humans
And we have cleared the ocean in our slaughter of them
We worship a god who we say created all the animals
With the ability to think and feel
In a garden where no one ate anyone else
Then changed his mind and said its OK to cause animals immense pain and have our fellow earthlings for dinner
