"It's a shame what happened to Fry's. I had a weird experience at the Campbell, Ca. 'Egyptian' store back in the mid 1990s. Some security workers there apprehended me & my other half after I had paid for a purchase, telling me another 'customer' had seen me stuff some 9 volt batteries in one of my pockets (which didn't happen, I only looked at the batteries & put them back on the rack). I told the security people to look at their surveillance video & said I wanted to be there when they did, so we all went into their office & watched the video. Sure enough, you could see that I didn't stuff anything into a pocket, I put things back I wasn't buying. I asked them if they took the time to look at the film first (I don't think they did!) & chewed them out for profiling me as if I was a criminal. I called Fry's corporate when I got home & they apologized, but I didn't go back there for several years (they missed a lot of things I bought from other places), but I eventually forgave them after getting some gift certificates for a few music C.D.s, too bad they didn't survive the longer haul. This video is very rich in facts & it's good, but the A.I. images that get the lettering & spellings scrambled are a bit distracting." -(My YouTube comment section entry).
