We previously contacted Primo Organics Ltd in London to express my concerns about their product, Amazing Almond Wowser. Despite claiming to be "organic ice cream," this claim is misleading. A careful examination of the ingredients reveals the presence of glucose syrup, which is not consistent with genuine organic standards.

We reached out to the company but, unfortunately, received no response. Given their lack of engagement, I feel it’s important to warn other consumers: always read labels carefully before purchasing. Some labels can be deliberately difficult to read, but when a product claims to be organic, it’s essential to verify the ingredients. Shockingly, this ice cream contains glucose syrup, a substance known to be harmful to the liver.

It’s unethical for a company claiming to produce organic foods to include such harmful ingredients. If you’re not already familiar with the health risks, we encourage you to start educating yourself. Never blindly trust labels that say “organic.”
Their claim: "At Wowsers, we make proper dairy ice cream using only organic ingredients and milk from happy cows!" Their mission: "We are on a mission to make fun and tasty organic foods! We launched the first organic dairy ice cream lollies in the UK."

Transparency and honesty in labeling are vital. Consumers deserve better—please stay vigilant and informed.
