I’ve been in the “ionic” silver field for over 25 years. I left the world of tech and venture capital (I had the same attorney and accountant as Steve Jobs of Apple in the 80s) for the sole purpose of advancing the cause of holistic approaches to health and healing. I pointed out their multifaceted fraud, which included everything from safety claims to false images of microscopy to false claims about particle size to falsified lab studies to you name it – all of which top experts in the field agreed with me were all entirely false claims.

And what the store owner said to me in response highlighted the biggest problem in our still barbaric socio-economic culture. He said, “But are they making money?”

ONLY IONS ARE BIOACTIVE, PARTNER DICTATES AVAILABILITY

I was recently on Amazon looking at the colloidal silver listings, and one of the first ones I saw had very artistic, professional-looking branding and packaging. And it said, “99.99% colloidal silver, with no harmful ions.” Folks, first-year college students know that no mineral on the periodic table has any bioactive ability whatsoever as an atom, and that it has to be an ion to interact with biological processes.

You don’t buy magnesium; you buy magnesium glycinate or magnesium citrate. Why? Because it’s a magnesium “ion” and ions will always have a counterbalancing “other” ion they’re paired with.

Then there are the companies calling theirs “ionic silver,” and the public thinks all ionic silver is the same. Nothing could be further from reality. The fact is that the only bioactive ingredient in all colloidal silver is the tiny amount of ionic silver that’s in it. So they can call it whatever they want on the label. Virtually all products called colloidal or ionic are one of two types of colloidal silver: ground up, or deteriorated rods.

What matters is (A) the percent of the silver that’s ionic (almost all are about 1%-3% ionic, regardless of what they claim in marketing, while ours is about 99% ionic – you can judge based on our reputation) and (B) the partner ions those silver ions are paired with, which dictates the availability of the silver ions in the body upon exposure to the body’s pH, a function of the “dissociation constant” of those two ions.

SILVER IONS CANNOT DIFFERENTIATE GOOD/BAD BACTERIA

I saw an article recently about how the Rockefellers, in taking over the health system in the country and imposing their “drugs” on the people, squashed information about the benefits of colloidal silver. There was an interview associated with that article of a man selling colloidal silver. I knew there would be false, bullshit claims, as there always are, but to humor my customer, I randomly clicked through it. Within two or three clicks at random places, the guy was claiming it can’t kill the good bacteria, which is one of the common lies told by makers of colloidal silver. Trust me, silver ions can’t differentiate bacteria that way.

It just so happens we never see gut or bowel issues with Silver 100, but that’s partly because it’s so bioavailable that most is used up before it gets that far, and partly because the body is miraculous in knowing how to balance healthy conditions and keep things working well. But we have always suggested taking probiotics for everyone and have never claimed our ionic silver doesn’t kill “good” bacteria.

The bullshit pervading the colloidal ionic silver is understandable given that it’s complicated chemistry and so easy to fool people, and that our culture favors making money over having integrity and serving the public.

I believe a good part of the fraud is deliberate with the bigger companies and just ignorance by the smaller companies, who are just repackaging what they buy the big companies and parroting their marketing lies.
