THE NOTE

Seven years.

A handwritten note on yellow legal paper, hidden inside a graphic novel in Cell Block 9-South. Written by Jeffrey Epstein. Found by his cellmate — a former cop serving 4 life sentences for killing four people.

That note has been SEALED IN A VAULT at the Southern District of New York courthouse since July 2019.

The DOJ says they've never seen it.

The agency investigating his death. Never saw the note. Never asked for it. Never knew it existed.

WHO SEALED IT?

Here's what it said:

"Time to say goodbye."

Four words. Written weeks before they found him dead with ligature marks inconsistent with hanging. The medical examiner confirmed — death by strangulation pressure, NOT a bedsheet. The cameras "malfunctioned." The guards "fell asleep." And the only evidence of his final state of mind was locked in a vault nobody was allowed to open.

UNTIL NOW.

The New York Times petitioned a federal judge THIS WEEK to unseal it. After 7 years of silence. Why now?

Because 3.5 million pages of Epstein files just dropped. But the financial transaction records — the ones showing WHO PAID AND WHO GOT PAID — were redacted. Every single one.
