The assassination attempt against a US president is a terrible terrorist event, that never helps the cause of the shooter. You would think that these possible nut cases would understand that reality.
I doubt that this was a staged event by anyone, but anything is possible.
But what is important is the “result” on the national mindset and how this would give Trump a push upward in citizen’s support for his agenda. It is a foregone conclusion that the slim chance of Trump being impeached before the midterm elections is no longer possible. Trump has gained too much sympathy from the public and that reflects on what Congress will do.
However, this jump in popularity may give Trump an edge in support to continue the war against Iran.
At this time no one is factoring in how the future trail of the shooter will affect the nation. The basic theme of his rambling manifesto was that he called Trump “a pedophile, a rapist and a traitor”.
As ill conceived and wrong his act of violence was, those three things are actually valid concerns. Not only that, when you single out each claim, a person can find documents and evidence to prove each one of them in a court of law. That doesn’t excuse his crime, but what people are missing is this: in the upcoming trail, all these claims will be laid out with volumes of facts and official documents to back up the shooter’s claims.
The question is, how will that affect Trump’s popularity 6+ months from now when the trail takes place? Can Trump afford to allow all those facts to be exposed to the public? Will it be too embarrassing and actually expose Trump’s crimes that have been swept under the carpet all these years?
Also, when I heard Trump call the shooter ‘sick”, I cringed at that, because that opinion statement by Trump can be used by the defense to get a lighter sentence for the shooter on mental illness grounds. When Reagan was shot by an assassin, that shooter did a few years in prison and then was released to his home because of his “mental condition”. Reagan called him “sick” too, before the trial.
The truth is, with very crafty lawyers there is no guarantee what would happen in this shooter’s trail. What if the team of liberal lawyers prove Trump IS a pedophile, IS a rapist, and HAS made executive decisions that DO qualify as illegal, unconstitutional, against the military laws of justice and was responsible for the death of Americans and other innocent people?
Keep in mind Trump ordered the illegal execution of sailors in boats near Venezuela, which is 100% against the military law of justice.
He also initiated a war against a country that was not at war with the US, resulting in thousands of deaths, including innocent women and children.
He ordered the sinking of an Iranian ship that was defenseless and carrying NO weapons when it was returning from a peace mission to India. Innocent sailors drowned. That qualifies as being an evil act.
He then took part in the assassination of a foreign religious leader in Iran, plus all his cabinet officials, and entire families including wives and children. Yes, there is ample proof of treasonous actions by Trump, volumes of it.
Then there is the massive tariff debacle that Trump invented and forced on Americans and the world, that was later judged by the Supreme Court as ILLEGAL! And now the hundreds of $millions were ordered to be paid back.
If all these facts come out in living color, how will that affect the trail outcome of the shooter? Will he by some stretch of the imagination be seen as following legitimate Constitutional protocol to defend the Republic? How would our foundations have judged this matter?
Remember the quote from the Declaration of Independence that says: ..”when a government becomes destructive of the rights to life, liberty, and happiness, it is the people's duty to alter or abolish it..”
The question is, was Cole Allen following his Constitutional duty?
This is also what will be brought up in the trail - if it even happens at all.
Keep in mind this does not excuse what he did, but the fact remains, those claims of Trump being “a pedophile, a rapist and a traitor” can be made in a court of law, and even in the discovery phase of the trial - the facts, witnesses and official documents that would be revealed would expose Trump as guilty of all those charges. Can Trump afford that to happen? In my opinion, Trump and his litigation team will determine that that possibility must be avoided at all cost.
That means the shooter would either have to face an untimely death in jail before the trial, or he would be “encouraged” to plead guilty and avoid the trail altogether. Later, after he did a few short year in prison, he would then be released because of “mental issues” and find his way to Israel to retire, with a fat bank account.
Before the attempt on Trump and his cabinet at the large ball room gathering, the chance of the war in the Mideast going nuclear was around 50%, for a variety of reasons that I won’t list at this time. But after the shooting, the popularity for Trump went up, which gives Trump a feeling of invincibility to launch more attacks on Iran, thinking that the US citizens and Congress won’t push back against his moves. The chance for nukes being used eventually in the Mideast is now 60%.
This also translates into Israel feeling like they have more momentum on their side now, to also make preemptive attacks on Iran.
It has been unlikely that Trump would drop nukes on Iran. It is also unlikely that Iran would initiate the use of nuclear weapons, if they have them. But the fact remains that the Israeli government has shown no hesitancy to drop any amount of bombs including nukes on Iran.
It is my opinion that when Israel is desperate enough after being decimated by the hi-tech missile attacks by Iran, that they will decide to launch nuclear missiles at Iran. This is a cause and effect. Once that happens it is possible the US would join in with token nuclear hits to support their genocidal partners in war crimes.
If that takes place, which is possible now, Pakistan, China and North Korea could join in with retaliation attacks on Israel to neutralize their military and missile power. At that point the defunct Israeli genocidal government would be considered a rogue and dangerous regime that must be stopped.
In that scenario, millions would be killed by Israel in Iran, and millions would die in Israel. How the US or Europe would react is unknown. But there would be a chance it would escalate even further, where US cities would be targeted if the US doesn’t stand down from helping Israel. At this time that is unpredictable.
But what Israel does and how Iran and other players respond is predictable.
This is why this situation in the Mideast is extremely dangerous and we should be prepared mentally and emotionally when nuclear weapons are used. It will be a huge shock to the people of the world. No one knows how this would affect the financial markets and the economy, but it will be chaotic at the very least. All of this could have been avoided if Congress would have done their job and impeached and removed Trump from office before he took the nation and the world to the brink of a nuclear holocaust.
