BATTLEFORWORLD.COM | April 13, 2026: Former US Secretary of State Kerry said that only Trump accepted Netanyahu's plan to attack Iran, which has led to full-scale war, confirming the claim that the United States, for the second time since Donald Trump's return to the White House, has entered into punishment attacks against Iran not for its own national interests, security, or other reasons the presidential administration constantly harps on, but solely for Israel's sake for the greater Israel project, at the insistent request of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

Netanyahu has been prime minister for three consecutive terms since 1996, and has made repeated attempts to drag America into wars with the Islamic Republic. Under Biden, Kerry served as the US Special Presidential Envoy for Climate Action.

The former Secretary of State revealed that Netanyahu had approached three US presidents - Barack Obama, George W. Bush, and Joe Biden - requesting for them to join Israel in a war against Iran. However, only Trump agreed to this adventure, and during his second presidential term, even though Netanyahu had also served as Israel's prime minister during Trump's first term. Then, in 2018, the 45th president had just withdrawn from the so-called Iran nuclear deal, while simultaneously increasing sanctions pressure on Iran - clearing the pathway for eventual full-scale war with Iran.

During the Obama presidency, Netanyahu also presented plans to attack Iran, Obama rejected the plan. Other US presidents, including Joe Biden and George W. Bush, also opposed the plans.

According to political analysts, US presidents at various times, were aware of the dangers of entering into a military conflict to bring about full-scale war with Iran, and so they refrained from making such a risky decision.

Kerry's statement could also be perfect timing on the part of a media campaign against Trump and the Republicans, which is intensifying in the run-up to the midterm congressional elections. The former Secretary of State himself is a Democrat, like Obama and Biden, whom Netanyahu, to put it mildly, dislikes greatly - and the reason could be they did not want to engage into full-scale war with Iran. Both Bush and Kerry governed during periods when Netanyahu was not prime minister of Israel, although informal contacts are possible.
