Neverhadaboss.com updates on the insane world of money and power . . .
By Erik Wallbank - March 30, 2026
In the final scene of 1950’s Saturday-afternoon Westerns, the bad-guy pulled the trigger and the only sound from his revolver was the click on an empty chamber. He ran out of bullets only to meet his fate.
That what’s happening in wars perpetuated by the US/Israel. Each has an outcome determined by number of troops and more importantly, ammunition. For example, in Ukraine, Russia fires 8X more artillery than Ukraine (NATO) hence 8X more Ukrainians die. There’s a difference. In Ukraine, the Russian strategy is well thought-out. In Iran, the US/Israel has no strategy. If they have a strategy, it’s to create chaos a strategy devoid of military intelligence, having to rely on decapitation strikes and carpet-bombing. And because Iran is proving to be resilient, US bombing targets are increasingly war crimes on civilians.
Consider the first day of the war when Israel/US hit an elementary girl’s school with what’s called a "double-tap". One Tomahawk goes in, and a few minutes later when parents and health workers are on the scene, comes a 2nd. The relevant fact is the school had existed for years and was known to be a school and was likely targeted on purpose. That’s an objective for strategy of chaos assure nothing/nobody is safe. The best way to have a population capitulate, is spreading terror using blitzkrieg/lightning war. As the war in Iran unfolds that’s the mission.
Nothing is sacred. Kill women and children to prevent the making of future terrorists. Bomb the universities (3 bombed in 24 hours), to prevent future science and engineering graduates. Hit desalinization plants and water resources. This is war kill them all.
But, along with strategy, war requires a few things. 1st, it needs a resolute population rallying together to preserve sovereignty with fierce nationalism. The NATO threat to Russia and the attacks on Iran have produced that outcome. But, in the US, where sentiment against Trump’s foray into Iran is met with 70% disapproval, there is no hope for a rally around the flag (maybe with a nuclear strike?). And because US intelligence reports that Iran was never an imminent threat to the US skepticism in the States is rising.
Now come the real issues: Donald Trump views America, with its crumbling infrastructure, war machine, out of date missiles and untested/old nuclear weapons as the most lethal military in the world. With weapons production that none can rival, when, in fact, US weapons production turnaround is among the slowest in modern warfare nations. And with young Americans, unwilling to fight for anything beyond Starbucks, and a standing army that couldn’t fight the VietCong, Trump intends to maintain control over the entire world with Pete Hegseth as his Rommel or his Eisenhower.
Given that a woke, entitled, obese America is in no condition to fight, with nothing to fight for, Trump readies a ground invasion against a nation, Iran, that has been preparing its defense for decades and has already proved to be resilient against US/Israeli air war.
But back to the empty gun chamber. Russia, realizing it was in existential threat from NATO, revitalized its military with a call-up of 1/3 of a million reserves (and many joining voluntarily each day), to become the world’s most battle-tested and formidable military. And, Russia increased its artillery production, to surpass anything possible for US/NATO. Conversely, in a US, cost-plus, crony contracts, there’s no incentive to ramp-up war production.
Then the bottom line: the dollar is at great risk and failing. Iran will only let oil pass through the Straight for friendly nations, and oil has to be purchased in Chinese currency. If Iran can keep Hormuz under its control, and the US cannot defeat Iran, while the Houthis close the Red Sea to oil transport, it’s all over but the shouting for the dollar.
It’s all over for the dollar now, but a global energy panic will bring the dollar down faster than Hemingway’s 3 words as to how his bankruptcy playedout. Slowly at first.
That’s the problem. As Bill Holter has been warning that this is a credit problem that’s been due to unravel for more than a decade, and from my vantage, Trump could make that happen over weeks.
We have no credit but the faith in a phony American fiat dollar that is now suspect, globally. With a US tax base that cannot service the interest on the national debt, how are we going to make more ammunition to carpet-bomb civilians across the globe? When there are no more missiles/ammo to re-direct from South Korea/Ukraine, and the Iranian ground invasion grounds to a halt, or worse is there anything left but nuclear?
We are lied to about the realities of the war in Ukraine and the war in Iran. Both are going badly with no sign the Russians or Iranians will give in. Add to that that the Houthis firing up the Red Sea and Hezbollah roaring back in Lebanon, raining destruction on Israeli armor and Northern Israel, to where the Israeli Defense Force Commander reports the IDF, under severe stress, could break. Bringing us back to the only question left nuclear.
How many American are prepared for the possibility there might soon be no tomorrows? That the future for mankind lies in the hands of Trump, Rubio, Hegseth and Netanyahu. That is the reality (not matter the view from the right), with the West facing defeat as well as the possibility of extinction for the US/Israel. How many even think about it?
You can bet the fools that started myriad stupid wars (West/Israel,) are busy assessing realities deciding the future of human existence. With no way to replace Western ammo stores, there are only 2 possibilities: face reality, back away, or close one’s eyes and press the buttons. Reality might cause Trump to waver but not Netanyahu.
Trump continues to avoid meaningful intelligence (Tulsi lies to keep her job). Bringing troops into the Gulf: if a ground invasion becomes body bags/ ships sunk, all hell will break loose politically. If you have been expecting political repression and surveillance in the States, your dream will come true.
Worse than that, the dollar fails while Israel has no interceptors to stop missile attacks. Then, except for nuclear weapons it’s over. And since neither Trump nor Netanyahu show empathy for human life what is the betting line on Armageddon?
In last scene of Westerns, when a empty cylinder makes that click, it’s the bad guy going down. It’s no different now because, as in the cartoon strip Pogo: ‘We have found he enemy and he is us.’ Pogo foretold our future.
