This woman lost the roof on her house in Florida hurricane Milton a couple years ago. I been helping her relocate and find a place to stay.
Her funding is running out so they want her to pay the difference to continue to stay where she is in a tiny home / efficiency.
I can't help her anymore so I am asking for help.
They want her to pay $300. month and she still needs food for her and her dog...thus the $500. request monthly.
She will be fine post RV so it is month by month for now. She has a 1 year lease...which she can break as soon as we RV and get her a house.
She is on disability but it is not enough. She has all her stuff in storage (1 in Florida & 1 in NC) so paying for that and a car payment and insurance...which eats up most of her income.
So any help right now is needed and appreciated.

I lost my house to Hurricane Milton. I relocated but the organization that was helping me, lost their funding. I have to pay part of the rent under HUD’s Section 8 Program but I have no money for the $500 a month I have to pay or my dog food and medicine for my dog and me. I can go to pantries to get stuff but I have health problems and cannot eat 90% of what they have.

I am 69 years old. I am going to look for work but I will need to get training.

If you can help me with anything, it will go to the rent and my dog’s food and medicine.

I need help to get back on my feet after the loss from the hurricane and my health problems but it will take time. I have had health problems since the hurricane and because of the hurricane, I lost my job. My family is deceased and I have no family who can help. I am alone, unfortunately.

My dog is my emotional support dog and my best friend.

If you can help me with anything, I hope god blesses you for your kindness and prayers.
