There is this curious trick of the mind where you can slow down or speed up your awareness of the action of The World external to you. It’s a trick of perception that is used by martial artists… yogis… mystics, and anyone who knows how to do it.

It’s a fact that there is ONLY one mind. It’s a fact that our identification of a separate self is an illusion manifested by the ego, in order to stand apart from the unity of everything else. Anything you perceive through the senses, and everything you generate and animate in the mind, as thoughts... role-playing for your amusement, or… whatever your motivation may be, is a manifestation of the mind’s relentless effort to control you through endless distractions.

None of these things are real. They are projections of The Mind designed to occupy your attention. This is the original bondage that holds humanity in thrall. Stop the process, and you are free. However… no matter what… even when you arrest the mind’s efforts to endlessly replicate thought forms… that wheel keeps spinning for a while, and you’re just going to have to bear with it, or… you’ll be right back doing it again.
