I clicked on a video this morning of Douglas Macgregor. And brought up a ridiculous looking AI video of him announcing that Iran now has a Nuke and no one had better mess with them.

Clue: Watch the eye blinking, not normal. His movements were also stilted and the same all through the video. It did sound like him. However, the dead give away for me was, I have never heard him in any of his videos, manage not to clear his throat continually. I would advice him to back off the dairy.

AI developers have yet to figure out a way to make the movements more normal for a human, not repetitive. As well they need to train them how to decide the proper way to say a word that is spelled the same. Example. Read, should they say REED or RED? It depends on the context. But, for a born copy editor, that just jumps out at me.

I personally hope they never figure that out or I will have to rely on intuition and critical thinking skills.
