Static is writing an elected representative about internet censorship.

Here is the comment I left on his ScrewTube page:

You are on the right track, no matter what the result may be in the immediate time frame (I say this because only sustained efforts over a longer period of time will eventually pay off most of the time). I've been into doing petition circulation since 2000, & there are times that it does work out favorably, so we always have to try. What you generally talk about in this video is participation, which is what has largely stopped happening with the U.S.A. population, particularly the last 20+ years. Our representative government has always depended on participation from the citizens, they have to be reminded of what we need & want, especially with the crazy amounts of special interests that are enticing them to go astray. I also perceive that the general dumbing down of the "education" system & populace in general has basically eliminated civics from the curriculum in basic education, kindergarten through high school isn't teaching young folks as well as it did when I was a kid (I'm 69 now), but even then I learned more at home or the main public library. You definitely should write your book! I'm not an English major, but I have been writing all my life (mainly commentaries & articles, but not with any M.S.M. entities). You only need to make a few corrections with your spellings, you will do fine. All skills are acquired, we learn as we go along. You are now inspiring me to do a similar campaign.
