Greetings brothers and sisters
As I watch in dismay at the once great American cities now turned into chaos...I'm reminded of my youth in the sixties and seventies...when cities were also awash with protest..and I am aware of one peculiar thing...back then...they were arguing for...civil right to life...stop the war...stop the hate...stop the plutocracy...stop the fascism...but...today..they are mostly self destructing theirs and our republic....and for what? A PAY CHECK !
Some rich fanatics are paying people to be bad...to be ugly..and it is disgusting..because our leadership doesn't go after the promulgators..but they are quick to attack the protesters who have deluded themselves into thinking...hey..it's a paycheck...!

It reminded me of a song I put out in the 80's.., written by me and Sonny Limbo...a producer for Heart and Bertie Higgins and Alabama for a time...we were warning about the dangers of drug abuse...after having revisited our 'old neighborhood'..off we went to Muscle Shoals to record the tracks...then to Ralph Emory's studio in Nashville..for the background singers tracks..then back to Atlanta for for final tracks and mixdown...
only to be told by our mentor Bill Lowery..."it's too soon for this"...! Oh well...
