BATTLEFORWORLD.COM | Writer: Derrick Hall | January 28, 2026: Dementia is a general umbrella term for a decline in mental ability (i.e., memory, reasoning) severe enough to interfere with daily life, while Alzheimer's Disease is a specific, progressive brain disease that acts as the most common cause of dementia (e.g., 60-80% of cases).

In the United States television commercials for Alzheimer and dementia care facilities repeat as often as commercials for pharmaceutical drugs. And the younger generation sometimes feel helpless or overburden caring for their loved ones and will eventually commit them to forever home facilities.

Medical research is dumbfounded as to what is causing the rise in dementia and Alzheimer, and some doctors will say the disease is genetic. - And religious beliefs drunk on illusory thinking can eventually lead to dementia and also to Alzheimer (from constant hoping/wishing/begging not being unfulfilled - can interfere with thoughts, reasoning, etc.), but also the lack of vitamins, minerals and trace elements and so on.

And other causing factors that can leads to dementia and Alzheimer’s disease include: chemical environmental toxins, obesity, lack of exercise and high blood pressure. Also includes too much sweetness in terms of snacking and edibles, but also instability and inevitably related depression, stress, as well as the lack of certain nutrients as mentioned earlier, which are increasingly lacking in foods - from abusive farming methods being used in modern times to grow vegetables; and abusive formulations used to create processed foods, etc. [all in the name of capitalism, and some suggests to create future sickly patients for profit].

And the prescription drugs available for dementia and Alzheimer, doctors will let you know that they do not work all the time or they're not as effective. In other words, there is not much that can be done at this time to effectively treat the disease.

The Cause
Dementia is in no way related to genetics, because genetic influences only exist in relation to physical conditions or circumstances, such as physical ailments.
