The Gospel of Jesus Christ
…As He Taught in the KJV of the Bible
Why the Rapture Must Happen Before the 7-Year Peace Agreement is Signed (KJV)
River Wilde End Times December 12, 2025
Prophetic Revelation in scripture is not the same as if you were reading an encyclopedia. There are some who expect to open the bible and look for scriptures that read with specific information explaining each event and revelation is great detail. That is not the case. Specifically, as you study the book of revelation: These prophecies are written “Apocalyptic literature” as the Primary genre.
I invite you to include God’s Holy Spirit, as you study the details, so that you can benefit from the power of its teachings, in understanding the scriptures.
For followers of Jesus Christ, TODAY, we are considering two major prophetic events as a priority in our understanding the “season” that we are currently in:
Daniels 7-Year Peace Agreement for Israel and neighboring countries.
The “Timing” of the Rapture.
Let’s begin with understanding the 7-year peace agreement. Here are the scriptures giving reference to this event:
Daniel 9:27 (KJV)
“And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate.”
This scripture is packed with information. Let’s break it down:
This verse is part of the prophecy of the “Seventy Weeks” given to Daniel by the angel Gabriel. In prophetic interpretation, “one week” represents seven years (with each day symbolizing a year).
The verse describes someone (“he”) who will:
Confirm a covenant with many for seven years. This person will be key in either signing, or putting together this agreement. This is the antichrist. How do we know? Let’s continue:
Break that covenant at the midpoint (3.5 years). The same “he” will go on to break the covenant midway through the 7-year period. How will he do this?
He will “Cause the oblation (sacrifice and offerings) to cease.
Bring about desolation through abominations.
What is NOT written in this scripture:
The Jewish people have not been able to offer any sacrifices for the past 2,000 years. The temple which they were using to perform these religious sacrifices, referred to as “The Second Temple” was destroyed in 70 AD.
So, this scripture indicates that a new temple, built by the Jewish people, must be built no later than 3.5 years after this 7-year peace treaty is signed, in order for the antichrist to cause the sacrifice and offerings to cease. Sacrifices are not done outside of a TEMPLE, therefore a new temple must be built in order to satisfy the details of this scripture.
Key Points – 7-year Peace Agreement
This document must be for a period of time equaling 7-years.
It must allow for the Jewish people to build a new temple, (likely where the first two temples stood,) on the “Temple Mount” located in Jerusalem
It will involve Bringing a peace to Israel and neighboring countries.
A signer, or person instrumental in the agreement’s development, will be the antichrist.
This is how we will know that this peace agreement satisfies the prophecy of Daniel 9:27. It must include these key points.
Related passages often studied alongside this include:
Daniel 9:24-27 – The prophecy of the “Seventy Weeks,” which provides the broader context for verse 27
Isaiah 28:14-22 – References a covenant with death and an agreement with hell, interpreted by some scholars as related to this peace agreement
2 Thessalonians 2:3-4 – Describes the “man of lawlessness” who will exalt himself in God’s temple
Revelation 11:2-3, 12:6, 13:5 – Multiple references to a three-and-a-half-year period (42 months or 1,260 days), which corresponds to half of the seven-year period
1 Thessalonians 5:3 (KJV) – “For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them”
So, let’s now move on to the prophecy of the Rapture, and why it must take place prior to the signing of this peace agreement:
1 Thessalonians 4:16-17 (the most direct rapture passage): “For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.”
1 Corinthians 15:51-52 (the instantaneous transformation): “Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.”
Let’s unpack the details:
First and foremost, the Rapture and the “Second Coming of Jesus Christ” are TWO separate events. We know this for several reasons. One is by the details of the following scripture, describing the Second Coming:
Zechariah 14:4 (KJV)
“And his feet shall stand in that day upon the mount of Olives, which is before Jerusalem on the east, and the mount of Olives shall cleave in the midst thereof toward the east and toward the west, and there shall be a very great valley; and half of the mountain shall remove toward the north, and half of it toward the south.”
Christ in this scripture indicates that He will actually be standing upon the earth on the mount of olives. In the scripture above that details the rapture, Jesus does not come down to the earth, but rather meets His followers in the clouds.
In this passage, Paul is discussing the resurrection and transformation of believers. The “last trump” refers to a final trumpet blast that will sound when Christ returns. According to the text, this event will happen instantaneously, and both the dead will be resurrected with glorified bodies and living believers will be transformed.
This TRUMPET is understood in Christian theology as referring to the end of the current (church) age and the return of Christ for the rapture, rather than being connected to the seven trumpets mentioned later in the book of Revelation. Distinguishing the difference here places the sound of the trumpet at two very important times: The Rapture and the Second Coming of Jesus Christ.
Additional Rapture Scriptures:
Matthew 24:40-41 (sudden separation): “Then shall two be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left. Two women shall be grinding at the mill; the one shall be taken, and the other left.”
John 14:2-3 (Jesus promises to return and take believers): “In my Father’s house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.”
Philippians 3:20-21 (transformation and glorification): “For our conversation is in heaven; from whence also we look for the Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ: Who shall change our vile body, that it may be fashioned like unto his glorious body.”
So, what about the timing of the rapture in relation to the signing of the 7-year peace agreement? Let’s again look at scripture:
2 Thessalonians 2:6-7 (KJV):
“And now ye know what withholdeth that he might be revealed in his time. For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way.” (2 Thessalonians 2:6-7)
The Theological Interpretation
Many Bible scholars interpret the “restrainer” as the Holy Spirit, whose unique ministry through the church holds back lawlessness and prevents the Antichrist’s revealing until God’s appointed time. Remember, GOD is in charge of the timing of the last days. He will NOT ALLOW the antichrist to be revealed until He removes “His Spirit” from the earth. He will accomplish this when the Rapture takes place, as the “majority” of His spirit is within those who believe in Him.
The interpretation doesn’t mean the Holy Spirit will be completely absent from earth during the tribulation, as He remains omnipresent and many will come to faith during that time. Rather, His unique sin-restraining ministry through believers would be removed when the church is raptured.
This Places the Rapture Prior to the signing of the 7-Year Peace agreement, because “His Church” (the restrainer) needs to be removed first. THEN the antichrist can be revealed to the world during the signing of this peace agreement.
The Purpose of the Rapture
It is important to understand why the rapture is important, and the purpose behind it. Do you know how AWEFUL the 7year Tribulation Period will be? If not, study the 7 Trumpet Judgments and the 7 Bowls of God’s Wrath that He will pour out onto the earth. These “Punishments” are NOT meant for followers of Jesus Christ. Because of this, God has established a “Rescue Mission” called the Rapture to remove all of His followers from the earth.
God has done this before, with Noah building an ark, and the parting of the Red Sea allowing Moses and the Israelites to escape the Roman army that were destined to kill all of them.
And when does this “Destruction” come:
1 Thessalonians 5:3 KJV
“For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape.”
It will be following the signing of the “False Peace” agreement which will shortly come to be.
It is NOT important for you to know the exact day that the rapture will occur, because I promise you that it is the intent of God that we will not have this information. He is keeping this information guarded from team satan as well.
However, as we learn how quickly the “Board of Peace” and the “20 Point Peace Plan” is taking shape, with the assistance of the Abraham Accord, we can see that the signing of this 7 year peace agreement that I have written about today, is very likely to happen soon.
Like many of you reading this today, I am so surprised at just how many people are unaware of the time period that we are in. They are just going about their day as if everything is the same as it always has been. However, I am reminded of this scripture:
Matthew 24:37-39 (KJV):
“But as the days of Noe were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark, And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.”
Prior to the flood, people were going about their daily routine, just as the people of today are.
Perhaps people are too afraid of the details of the Tribulation Period, and choose to simply ignore what is happening around them. Might I suggest that our focus be simply upon helping people to become “Born Again” as taught in the New Testament? This will secure them a “ticket” to be included in the rapture, again removing them from all of the “scary” things that are coming to the world.
For those who still resist, God still has a plan for the “stubborn.” These hardships of the Tribulation Period also serve as a way to humble people in hopes that they will eventually accept Jesus Christ as their Savior. This still might happen in the Tribulation Period. We can certainly pray for them that their hearts will eventually be softened.
I would like to again remind you of the importance of expressing our gratitude for the “Rescue” plan that our God has made for us. It is something that we are aware of today, and do not have to wait for it to actually happen before offering our thanks. I hope that you will join me as I give my praise and gratitude to My King for what He is about to do for us. We are “blessed” children when we realize that Jesus saved us on the cross, and that God will be saving us from the Tribulation. Thank you! Thank you! Thank You!! We are blessed beyond expression.
Please share this post on your social media, as we continue to do all that we can to warn and prepare others. Thank you.
