Dear RM Agents & Readers,

I was experiencing a very loud noise which I had realized if you
open a door or go outside the noise and body reverberations lessen. That day I heard what sounded like the same thing outside and went to examine.

The whole side of the house was covered with the insects, which I had no idea what species they were. After a bit of inquiry I figured out they were circadas. Did some research and it resulted in a post.

Those of you from the southern part of the country know exactly what they are but it was my first experience with them. Like a little kid, what are they and how do they make that sound?
