The story started with a few small mistakes by people in the criminal justice system but those small mistakes led to wrongful imprisonments and that's what stopped the most important political campaign this country has ever known going ahead. The campaign, Campaign for Democracy gets floating voters in marginal seats to demand a transfer of power from politicians to people. That's what was behind David Cameron's Big Society idea. Did people in the criminal justice system realise that when the truth came out it would devastate the reputation of the legal professions, and did that lead to a cover up of those mistakes?
