There endless forecasts of doom have all failed when measured against reality.

The record includes the following

1. King Charles (2019–2023): Gave repeated deadlines — "six years left," "100 months left" — to stop catastrophe. All have passed. No catastrophe

2. Al Gore (2009): Predicted a 75% chance the Arctic would be ice-free by 2016. The ice is still there.

3. Al Gore (2006): Said sea levels would rise by 20 feet "in the near future." They have not.

4. UN Environment Programme (2005): Predicted 50 million climate refugees by 2010. The number was zero.

5. UN Official (1989): Warned that entire nations would be "wiped off the map by 2000." They were not.

Every one of these predictions has expired. The climate countdown clocks have been wrong for 35 years. The facts show that fear campaigns make headlines, not truth.

It is time to get back to reality.

We need cheap, sustainable energy to drive industry, agriculture, and progress. That means hydrocarbons and nuclear power. They are the only sustainable systems that produce abundance and prosperity.

And as for the political class that pushed this nonsense — we must now dispense with the services of that court jester Ed Miliband.

Let's go nuclear.

Let's drill, baby, drill.

Let's make energy cheap again.
