One thing to keep in mind is that whether the leadership is Republican or Democrat, they both operate under a basic pretension that has no basis in reality. Republicans promote the idea that they are fiscally conservative and morally restrained. Democrats like to say they are about fairness to all, and in support of everyone’s right to express themselves, no matter how perverse the manner might be.

These are sweeping generalizations, but since both sides are morally bankrupt, sold out to the highest bidder, and constantly driven by greed and fear of exposure, we have probably been too kind.

Presently, under the autocratic imperialism of President Humpty Trumpty, all the king’s men are getting a nice piece of the action because the administration and corporate interests are sharing the space in The High Tower... among the clouds generated there... by the heat of their global ambitions, and the cooling front of their interactions with anyone who gets in their fucking way. Control of the weather is a concern at every level of operation.

At a wider reach, and that reach will go as wide as it is possible for them to reach, there are venal interests aplenty that go about in the guise of humanitarian interests, and this is only one of this season’s haunted houses.
