Christ is not concerned about the 99 sheep that are safe and back wherever he keeps them. He’s looking for that lost sheep, and the same is true in reverse. The Devil is not concerned about those he’s already compromised with one thing or another. He and his minions are looking for weaknesses in those who take it for granted that they are saved and right with God, or have some book of scripture that they like to beat people over the head with, As Above, So Below, in... another... sense.

The actuality is that everything exists in the bandwidth that is appropriate to it. Let’s say there is a dial that has a red zone and a green zone. Let’s say the red zone is the carnal bandwidth, and you could turn the dial so many digits up or down until you were no longer in that bandwidth. If you turn it into the green area, you are in the higher octaves of the heart, where things are no longer carnal. These colors really apply to their zones of influence.

You are not this mortal creature living on a plane bounded by the things you like and the things you don’t like at either perimeter. This is what happens when The Mind starts running the show, and using your desire body and appetites against your well-being. The hardest part about negotiating a landscape of distractions is not the distractions, but the continuous appearances of distractions. If The Mind spends all its time taking pictures to occupy your attention, then… your best defense is to shut down the camera.
