BATTLEFORWORLD.COM | September 26, 2025: The Prime Minister of Israel Benjamin Netanyahu has plans to annex the West Bank and believes that US President Donald Trump will agree.

However, President Trump on Thursday said that he will not allow Israel to annex the West Bank of the Jordan River, and said "it's time to stop now," referring to the Gaza genocide being committed by Netanyahu. "I'm not allowing Israel to annex the West Bank. There's been enough. It's time to stop now," Trump noted. And said that "We spoke with Bibi Netanyahu and the leaders in the Middle East and we're getting pretty close to having a deal on Gaza, and maybe even peace," Trump told reporters.

On Tuesday at the UN General Assembly during discussions on the sidelines, Trump promised leaders of Arab states that he would not let Israel annex the West Bank.
