This song is a heart-tugger. I worked in a strip club for a couple years. Always had a full time job but the extra money was easy and helped. I learned more about life, and people, and grace there than I did in church. It taught me to be more non-judgmental and forgiving. Every person had a story. Every one of them were God's children. I had a difficult time posting this because I couldn't stop crying. My younger sister lived in Nashville and played the guitar and sang her own songs. She died of the pandemic in 2022, 2 days after her birthday. She died alone and never made it to retirement. But the songs she and other singers would sing can make the difference in people's lives.
We all go through hard times but one thing is certain, we can make others happier with a little kindness, after all, none of us are getting out of here alive. GE
