Legislating, permitting, inspections, studies and meeting after meeting are driving the cost of private Bridges beyond necessary cost. The state of North Carolina is wanting control, and access to every private bridge that is placed in Western North Carolina. By escalating, the cost and creating bureaucracy in red tape, flooding permits, building permits will not only cost taxpayers, but will also be a limited number of Bridges replaced in Western North Carolina.
