From the moment that ones and zeros became the organizers of our lives through their infinite interactions, a timer started. It is the countdown to yet another Tower of Babylon moment. It is captivating that the archetypal Babylon had to do with building a tower to Heaven, which is interesting anyway because Heaven begins where your feet touch the Earth, so… they all got dispersed from their common tongue, and sent in all directions with a new language, and no longer able to understand anyone else. That was the fast version of the story, where you leave everything out and just go with the ending.

Well… it was about Pride. It was about the people being more important than God, which they never will be, BUT… they can be equal to God. Wait a minute! You’re confusing me. Heh heh. We need to learn our place in the scheme of things, and when we do, alles in ordnung, as the Germans would say, following the tower debacle

The word Babel means to confuse. It’s probably where we got babbling from, the tendency of people to babble on. I can draw a lot of parallels to a story that is an obvious allegory. So many of the tales from long ago are cautionary tales… teaching mechanisms for those who might be inclined to learn. The desire to understand diminishes as Materialism increases. Sensation becomes the key to existence, which it is not.
