Think of The Spindle as running from Heaven down through your spine to the base level. Think of it as being encircled by a spiral stairway with seven landings. There is a single door on each level, and it opens into an entire world, the way department stores have (or used to have) various floors for specific items; jewelry… cosmetics… notions and whatnot (grin) on one level. Sporting goods… toys… and clothing on another..

Not every floor is accessible unless you have a passport or know the password. There is a roof garden that is guarded by an angel with a flaming sword. At the lower levels, you will find the boilers attended by the stokers. There’s a central power core that drives the apparatus to and through its external missions and appointments in The Outer Journey.

In times of material darkness, most everyone is on The Outer Journey. This is how The Divine explores its own being with many millions of hands and fingers, and other defining and analyzing tools. It’s a noisy place. Some places are crowded, and some are not. You might wonder how that came about. Someone might tell you that in earlier times, access to, and... travel by water, was the determiner of where people would congregate together.

Of course, deserts are self-explanatory, and climate would be a factor, BUT… I suspect there are reasons why certain places remain, and have remained, unsettled.
