In the past few months Trump has shown himself to be irrational and carrying on a cover-up regarding the Epstein files. One of the things Trump promised was a full release of the Epstein files to finally reveal the long list of criminals that sexually abused girls, boys and young women.
The children were victims in Epstein’s and Ms. Maxwell’s grooming program to offer boys and girls to the wealthy elite and politicians. It was also documented by several sources that Epstein was an “intelligence asset”, meaning he was recording the sex activities in various private locations and blackmailing the offenders for political and financial gain.
In the last few years of Epstein’s nefarious activities Trump was not involved and most likely never took a flight to the “pedo island” that became infamous for the sex activities.
However, for 15+ years Trump and Epstein were close friends until for a variety of reasons, Trump concluded that being close to Epstein was a liability, so he broke off the friendship.
When Trump ran for office the second term his followers believed what Trump claimed about Epstein and simply wanted the criminals that abused the girls to be brought to justice. This did not seem like an unreasonable request, since there were hundreds of victims already identified, but for some odd reason none of the perpetrators of the crimes were revealed to the public.
As the shouts for justice were amplified in the public, Trump instead side stepped the issue, and came up with distractions to avoid releasing all of the Epstein files.
He started calling the “list” fake and made up by democrats, then he said it was all part of the Russia, Russia, fakery. Then he had his team start a program of vilification of Obama and the Clintons for all kinds of illegal activities and even treason – which was already known for many years.
But it was obvious these were desperate acts of distraction to avoid releasing the Epstein files. However, the political maneuvering for ulterior motives didn’t end there. Trump, which was acting more like a “Mad King”, turned the focus towards military conflicts and joined forces with the Israelis to bomb Iran.
Then he turned toward Russia, who have not altered their military operation goals in Ukraine, and started spewing anti-Russia rhetoric and threating them with nuclear war – even openly announcing the direct placement of nuclear armed submarines near the Russia homeland.
All these things were the desperate acts of a “Mad King” – but this time the stakes have been raised to threaten a nuclear power. These actions by Trump were done to save his political career.
During the last few days of Nixon’s presidency, he took advantage of a current military situation and put the military on high alert. I was in the Spokane, Washington area at that time when an Air Force pilot was pulled over for speeding towards Fairchild Air Force base by a police officer, and he told the officer they were under high alert and was allowed to proceed to the base without a speeding ticket.
Does the public even know who the enemy was? Or what country was a threat to the US? It didn’t matter, a president can exploit any so-called military conflict to declare an emergency, and that is what Trump has now done against Russia.
What we are witnessing is the death rattle of a failing presidency that is about to go down in flames. But before the mad king goes down into that “good night” and fades away into oblivion, he will desperately scramble and scheme for every last minute of power to save his legacy.
These are desperate times, and desperate, mad kings will do desperate things to hold on to power. No one is safe when an irrational leader is in office, who will exploit any action he can to hang onto the last vestiges of power.
Why won’t Trump release the Epstein files? It is simple, his name comes up throughout the files for many years, long before he un-friended Epstein in an expedient action to avoid a criminal connection.
Before America is drawn into a world war with a nuclear power, the US Congress should start impeachment proceedings immediately to remove Trump, the mad king, from power. No one is safe until he is removed from power - not in the homeland, not in Europe, not in the Middle East and not in Russia.
Trump is like a drowning man that will grab anyone near him and take them down underwater before he will drown himself. He is now exploiting the US military and threatening a nuclear war, just to save his failing legacy. This is a criminal act of a mad king that would rather see the world erupt into nuclear flames before he loses power. How much clearer does it need to be before Congress takes action to save this nation?
And, to add to this disaster, the innocent people in Gaza are being starved to death every day, and no one is coming to their aid. Where is humanity and compassion in the world? Obviously, it is not in Washington, DC. George Eaton
