My comments:
I was fascinated by this man's insight, advice, and opinions although some of what he said was ethereal, nebulous and hard to comprehend. I also found myself wanting to respond or interject thoughts and insights of my own but wasn't sure he was able to understand what I was saying.

He kept pushing the concept that we need to jump to another planet as a high priority since this earth is going to eventually self-destruct. But in my opinion, from my research, the US gov. has already made contact with aliens that have helped elements of the gov. and wealthy elite make trips to other planets and could be setting up new colonies. That also means that the hi-tech advances for faster space travel are already available to our gov. and don't need to be re-invented.

Keep in mind this is a long winded interview and may require listening to in increments. But it is well worth the time to hear insights you'll not likely hear ever again in your lifetime. I didn't agree with many of his personal conclusions, but overall it was an amazing mental journey to hear what he says. He is not politically correct and doesn't blindly follow the crowd in his thinking, which is a major plus.

At one point he talked about taking the time to take your child and go lay on the ground at night and look at the stars, and bring the dog along. I had a difficult time trying to see the benefit for the dog in looking at the stars, or if the dog would even comprehend what the night sky was. But the wonder of a child seeing the vastness in space, I understood that benefit.

I also felt that his conclusion on what A.I. will do against society was speculative and overly pessimistic.
I did however agree with his assessment that eventually a nuclear war is going to break out one way or the other, since mankind is gravitating towards using those weapons of mass destruction.
But he fails to understand that this is by design and no accident. The nations are being set up to go to war with each other and provoked into conflicts for ulterior motives.

In the last question on "what do you wrestle with to avoid figuring out the problem", he said "pass". He refused to answer, and said the answer was not appropriate for this audience. That was quite a mystery.

When asked what people should do before they die, he mentioned listening to certain types of music, visiting far away islands and lands that the average citizen would never be able to afford to do. But could be accomplished on youtube videos.

One thing that the interviewer couldn't understand was his conclusion on how we are facing a global apocalypse, and that everything was going to end for mankind. I felt that this man's answers were only partially true, and overly cynical and pessimistic about the future.
He mentioned three items that are polluting the global sky, such as human pollution, radiation from fallout and a nuclear winter from the dust of nuclear wars. I believe that the pollution from humans is highly overrated, and that the fallout from nuclear wars will be bad, but nature is resilient as well as human beings. We are not facing "the end of the world". GE
