"With over 400 Alternative Communities across the UK and applications to join this type of alternative lifestyle at an all time high, with reports suggesting these applications have increased by over 500% in the last 5 years. In this documentary I continue my investigation into the rise of Alternative Communities across the UK. In this documentary I have been given exclusive access inside one of the longest standing Off Grid communities in the United Kingdom.

The Chyan Community in Cornwall, UK is set in deep in the remote Cornish countryside, this alternative community started life as a travelling circus before settling over 20 years ago and has now become one of the Largest Alternative Communities and Longest Standing Alternative Communities in the Country. I headed to Cornwall to find out how this community started, what life is like living Off-Grid and how this alternative lifestyle is even possible!

I was given an exclusive tour of this community by the custodian of the land, to see how they live Off Grid in the UK, what I found shocked me and showed just what is possible... From people living in handcrafted Yurts to Van Life in Converted School buses this community had a wide array of residents living in many different vehicles and structures.

In this documentary I interview numerous members of this Secret Alternative Off-Grid Community.
