Things feeling well off/skewed these days and every waking moment it seems another layer of anguish is added, like falling snow on a rickety roof where one day all is going to collapse.

Everything is off - kilter, take a look at all around you, life even during bad times was never this way, seems all's been condensed into a giant pressure cooker where all now is set to max as the lid buckles now primed to explode.

People (at least those awake) are feeling it, as I'm sure you the reader are also.
