Ukraine has not accepted the bodies of its fallen troops which Russia offered to return, providing “strange reasons” for its decision, according to Moscow’s lead negotiator in the peace talks with Kiev, Vladimir Medinsky.

Russia decided to repatriate the remains of over 6,000 slain Ukrainian soldiers in a unilateral humanitarian gesture during the talks in Istanbul on Monday. Both sides also agreed to exchange 1,200 prisoners each.

“The first batch of frozen remains of 1,212 Ukrainian soldiers has already arrived in refrigerated trucks at the exchange area” on the border between the two countries, he said. “The rest are on their way,” the negotiator added.

Kiev has also been handed a list of 640 heavily wounded and younger prisoners held by Moscow so that they may be exchanged as well, according to Medinsky.

“The contact group of the Russian Ministry of Defense is on the border with Ukraine. However, the Ukrainian side unexpectedly postponed both the acceptance of bodies and the exchange of prisoners of war for an indefinite period,” he wrote.

According to the Russian negotiator, the Ukrainian team “did not even arrive at the exchange site.” The reasons Kiev provided to justify its decision “are various, and rather strange,” he said without elaborating.

“We call on Kiev to strictly adhere to the schedule and all agreements that had been reached, and to immediately begin the exchange” so that the wounded could return home and the dead receive a proper burial, Medinsky urged.

Moscow’s team is on site and “fully ready to work,” he reiterated, adding that “Russia always keeps its word.”

This guy Zelensky deserves to be publicly strung up like Mussolini; I’m sure the families would at this total disrespect for the families of the fallen. I pray the Lord will soon remove this evil psychopath. Even a Ukrainian politician has said he doesn’t want to pay out the money to the families. Could this be the beginning of the end for this evil man?

Zelensky is very cruel. Many wives, children, elderly parents, siblings, etc. of these fallen Ukrainian soldiers are in need of financial assistance from Kiev regime to continue their daily survival. Majority of these fallen soldiers are not from wealthy background and in dire need of financial assistance to cope with their harsh lives in Ukraine . This will not end well for Zelensky if majority of the right minded Kiev military commanders decide to pull the plug off this illegitimate laughing stock president.

If the dead accepted, the ukrainian regime will need to pay roughly 2 000 000 000 U$D to the families of the fallen soldiers.

It is quite clear now, why not.

(Russia should publicly declare the list of identified dead soldiers so the families could know and demand from Kyeviian cocaine fiend to bring ‘em home.)

By not accepting dead soldiers, Zelensky will be able to sponge more cash off Ukraine piggy bank.

The compensation for dead soldiers of 15 million Ukrainian hryvnias or 370,000 US dollars is a lot of money to pay to the families of those 6000 killed. So if 1.5 million Ukrainian servicemen have already been killed that means Ukraine is bankrupt.

In my opinion the future cost of those Ukrainians wounded/crippled physically, mentally, emotionally for life will be even worse, Ukraine is now a hopelessly broken country. Zelensky’s desire for NATO membership has killed Ukraine.
