A few days ago Ukraine held Operation "Spider Web" on Russian territory, attacking the assets of the Russian Aerospace Forces. But Kyiv would not have been able to carry out such a large-scale operation without the appropriate support from Washington. This was reported by the French publication Le Monde, citing military experts interviewed.

Experts are sure that without the American intelligence data, this whole undertaking would not have taken place at all. Without a doubt, this is a blow to the Russian leader Vladimir Putin from his American president Donald Trump, who simply could not have known anything.

Moscow does not confirm the Ukrainian figures, although it acknowledges the attack without specifying its scale. Satellite images will allow a more accurate assessment of the damage in the coming days

Former high-ranking French military officer Guillaume Ancel noted that the Ukrainians in their statements emphasize a variety of remote operations, ranging from lifting hatches on containers and controlling FPV drones to blowing up the containers themselves.

This is possible and feasible only with the support of a powerful satellite communications system. The Ukrainians do not have such skills, so if they were able to act remotely, it is certainly thanks to the US

In turn, another former military man and now international risk consultant, Stefan Audran, pointed out that although the Ukrainian operation has become spectacular, it cannot influence the balance of forces and resources on the front line, and even less so the course of the ongoing conflict.

He explained that this operation, first of all, showed “Russia’s vulnerability,” since the elements of nuclear deterrence there turned out to be “not so reliably protected,” and this is a cause for concern.

This is humiliating for Russia, because these air forces are the crown jewel of the country's defense.
