Steve Reeves was a very wise man. He decided to make movies in his prime then leave Hollywood to retire on a ranch with his wife.
I liked this film and I am not easy to please when it comes to movies. The directing, scenes, and acting were all quite good. The movie reminded me of the Gaza situation and was placed in a desert area like the Gaza Strip. I found the story educational, inspiring and deeply emotional because of the resistance against slavery.

Filmed in Egypt in 1962, the desert locals add realism to this story of heroism and revenge.
Also stars Jaques Sernas, Gianna Maria Canale, Amber Collins and Ken Wood.
The first time I saw this, I was amazed by the sweeping spectacle of the battles and sets.
