The Israeli army estimates that it will need an additional $2.6 billion to expand its war on the Gaza Strip, according to the Israeli daily Yedioth Ahronoth.

“The renewal of the war in Gaza over a month ago, after the ceasefire, and the plan to expand it with a large-scale ground operation, is incurring significant costs,” the daily said.

It added that the increase is strongly opposed by the Finance Ministry.

"It is inconceivable that, beyond the nearly $31 billion already allocated – including the use of a $2.6 billion reserve fund – another $2.6 billion could be added to an already inflated defense budget,” a senior official told the newspaper.

The daily said that the additional expenses will be used to seize about 40% of Gaza’s territory in the coming weeks, enhancing the security of Israeli settlements near the Gaza border and preventing the resumption of rocket fire into Israel.

According to the figures released by the Israeli economics newspaper Calcalist earlier this year, Israel has spent $67.57 billion in 2024 for its military onslaught on the Gaza Strip.

The Israeli army resumed its assault on Gaza on March 18, shattering a Jan. 19 ceasefire and prisoner exchange agreement.

Israel has killed more than 51,200 Palestinians in the enclave since October 2023, most of them women and children.

Last November, the International Criminal Court issued arrest warrants for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Gallant for war crimes and crimes against humanity in Gaza.

Israel also faces a genocide case at the International Court of Justice for its war on the enclave.

My comment:
The state of Israel in occupied Palestine is financed and supported by money from the US and the wealthy elite globalists in UK, along with other sources in Europe. Israel would not survive if it wasn't for a steady flow of $ billions being sent to prop up the apartheid, mobster nation. With Israel offensively fighting on 7 different fronts against Muslim nations, the huge amount of money it is going through may never be fully known by the public.

The next agenda is to launch a preemptive attack on Iran to destroy their military and pacify them as an adversary nation, so the Israelis can maintain their control in the Middle East - and immensely expand their territory to fulfill the Greater Israel Project. This will require bunker busting nuclear bombs. It is unknown how nuclear power Pakistan, Russia and other large nations will respond to that dangerous elevation of using atomic weapons. This could send emotional shock waves around the world to the news of nuclear bombs being dropped in a war.

Once the attack begins it is a foregone conclusion that the US will join in with the bombing campaign, not only against the military bases and naval ports, but also powerplants and the civilian infrastructure. The initial deaths could be in the thousands. But the consequences of a counter attack against Israel would cause hundreds of thousands of deaths on both sides within hours.

The crimes that are being committed by the Israelis is a massive humanitarian disaster that is accurately described as ethnic cleansing and a genocide. For any leaders of the western nations to join forces with Israel and give them finances and war materials to continue the slaughter of innocent people makes those leaders and their military chain of command, legally complicit in crimes against humanity.

No amount of lame political excuses or so-called religious justifications will circumvent the reality of guilt with this holocaust of our time.
With the death count of innocent women and children mounting on a daily basis, all other domestic, financial and political issues must be set aside to focus on this massive humanitarian disaster.
If this is not stopped, and the war breaks out against Iran, there will be such a cry of revenge by over a billion Muslims worldwide, that all the US bases and western cities could become military targets. GE
