I have mixed feelings about broaching this subject for a variety of reasons. I find myself in agreement with much of Trump’s domestic policies and common-sense political moves. On the other hand, I see a distinct pattern developing in the Trump Whitehouse that I find disturbing and dangerous.
Those tendencies are multi-faceted and involve the symbiotic relationship between Trump and his appointees. It is a high honor and the pinnacle of political success to reach the Whitehouse in any position, even to college age staff members.
Consider being an appointee that has been handed leadership and management authority and how excited and exuberant they are to serve the nation in that capacity. Then imagine a large gathering of all those illustrious appointees in one room with Trump and hearing hour after hour of praise being laid on the president.
It is awe inspiring, addicting and intoxicating. Each person feels honored do be there and has a strong desire to be part of the team and join in the chorus of high praise for Trump.
It is a form of mass hypnosis and a mob mentality that not only feeds each person’s feelings of pride and euphoria, it also magnifies in their mind more and more until they reach a point of hypnotically and blindly following a leader without raising any contradictory questions.
They are also subconsciously intimidated by the situational awareness of being in the Whitehouse and a part of the president’s team. This is the creation of a dangerous recipe of becoming “yes men” to go along with anything Trump and the others want.
Where else in societies do we see this pattern of behavior? I regret to say it lines up perfectly with cult like behavior.
In my studies of cults and political movements I read books and studied films on how cult leaders rose to power and how dictators controlled the masses.
When I saw videos of the Whitehouse meetings with Trump and his appointed officials it looked strikingly like the gatherings of financial and economic German leaders gathering in front of Hitler and then ending by praising Hitler and giving the Nazi salute.
They had the same type of excitement, exuberance, and mob mentality as the cabinet members meeting in the Whitehouse. I did not expect to see that stark similarity and it sent shivers down my spine.
Another thing that has bothered me about the Trump “regime” is how often that Trump is in front of cameras, hours a day, as if he is in perpetual election mode, and feels compelled to saturate the media with his voice to “guide the people” to his opinion. Where else do we see this take place? This behavior is also seen in cult leaders like Jim Jones, who suicided over 900 of his followers, plus televangelists and a long list of tyrants and dictators throughout the centuries. Millions have died under the spell of cult leaders throughout history.
The concept they’re after is to totally immerse the followers with the power of their voice and their human charisma. This prevents the followers on having the inclination or the time to question anything they are hearing from their “dear leader”. His high position and oratory skills elevate him in their minds to almost a god-like position.
A symbiotic relationship is then formed whether they are aware of it consciously or not. To maintain that control, the leader also realizes he must maintain a constant and steady flow of information from himself to the people if he wants to keep his followers in line with his leadership.
This is the typical pattern of holding on to political power. But the danger is, the policies and whims of a leader can be followed without the followers questioning the wisdom or danger of those decisions. There is a saying: “Power corrupts, and absolute power corrupts absolutely”.
No human being is exempt from the intoxication of power. This is exactly why our founding fathers created a Constitutional system of checks and balances, with a foundation of power residing “with the people”. They formed a Congressional system of statesmen elected by the people to form a “corporate body” of individuals that would make sure no king or tyrant would take control of the nation.
However, that system has been corrupted on several levels, and we no longer have statesmen that represent the people. We are now ruled by an oligarchy of wealthy elites that pretend to do what the people want. But behind the scenes men in suits go to Congress and to the Whitehouse and tell them what needs to be done.
Trump took on the conservative, populist viewpoints to get elected. It worked all too well. But after he was elected, he followed the wishes of those that lobbied and paid for his election. He is loyal to them, not to us or the Constitution. This is the sad truth we have to face if we ‘re ever going to understand what is going on in Washington, DC.
The Trump Whitehouse in reality has become a cult leadership zone, and those that follow him blindly are cult followers. In addition to that, Trump has joined forces with another cultish nation in the middle east that has killed in excess of 60,000 innocent people and the body count goes up daily.
Providing financing in the $ billions and the most powerful bombs to an apartheid, mobster, cult nation - that is openly and proudly operating a genocidal campaign - confirms the pattern of cultish behavior in DC.
This is a blatant deviation from moral and humane behavior of any leaders or nations. It is totally inexcusable and cannot be defended with any flowery rhetoric.
It is extremely frustrating to see conservative and patriotic values being touted from the Whitehouse as the cult leaders at the same time are carrying on a bloody war against innocent people. It doesn’t make sense and there doesn’t seem to be a thing we can do about it.
One thing is certain, when cult movements continue on an evil trajectory they are bound to fail and collapse in a massive way, and the little people end up suffering the most.
