People Are Freaking Out Over This Right Now, Vehicles are Now Listening to Our Conversations That Are Sent to A.I. Computers - video 17 m
My dad had an impala maybe 2007 onstar in it. When i couldn't get in touch w them coming home from Florida i called onstar and they scanned the vehicle and said there were no conversations respiration or heartbeats detected in the car. The car was parked and hadn't broken down or had an accident. Imagine how much more they can do the way technology advances. Creepy
For recent New car buyers there's a clause on the contract stating that some cars have built in cameras that record you and all passengers in the car. I just read it today.
Just a note : I don't know if I buy the video of the man that finds a "chip" in his visor. Cars are equipped with so much tech and on-board computers that I'm pretty sure this "chip" wouldn't be needed.
Remember the movie Minority Report? People were arrested for crimes they were predicted to commit in the future. Imagine being arrested for some random crime you were "talking about committing" in the privacy of your damn car?
This has been going on for far longer than people realize
The companies have collected so much eye data at this point, that they can use a.i. to decipher the eye movement.
They dont have to hide anything in your visor when you have a computer right there in your dash, with mics, and links to your phones
I've been wondering something lately, all these companies collect our data and then have these data breaches. I've been wondering if the companies have been secretly selling our data and just saying they got breached. Maybe they make the buyer sign a non-disclosure agreement but they can do whatever they want with our data and we don't know who bought it.
At the very beginning, the way the guy handled the visor, made me think something was not legit. I don't think the visor was attached to that car, he only pretended that it was, so he planted it there?
Having said that, I Googled: Is my 2014 Chevy Cruze spying on me? Answer: YES, thru OnStar!
A lot of lease / loan / rental / financed cars have remote GPS tags installed in them for repossession or theft. It is separated from the onboard systems and power so that disconnecting the battery, cutting wires, replacing components etc, will not disable the GPS.
All vehicles since 1986
Opting out of this data collection could lead to punitive increases on your insurance and you getting marked as a higher risk too - they are ALL that predatory
Lots of things are presented as being of benefit when in fact the issue always is that the corrupt run things and don’t intend to use it for our welfare.
Mass surveillance is great for those who hold the power, for the rest of us not so much.
It don’t matter what type of car or how old it is, if you have a smart phone in your car you’re being recorded. (so we're being tracked and recorded by at least two independent ways)
Without saying too much. I used to work for the technology side in the auto industry. Specifically the telematics side. Let’s just say, YES.
I was talking about Mad Magazine's Spy vs Spy last week in a Honda hybrid van with a friend and haven't seen those two characters in years. Then two days later on YouTube I saw best of cartoon clips of them. I was just bringing this up with that same friend that the Honda is listening to us. It's not even my vehicle or how it knew to send it to me personally. It's a coincidence your video is bringing this up. I've never looked them up or seen them on YouTube before. (The A.I. system can record the phone owner and passenger in the car, and know two people are having a conversation.)
since 2000, all cars have a black box. Bodies have been found by the black box being decoded by manufacturer.
Yes all newer cars do this. Beside selling info. The car is pretty much logging everything. So when you go to the dealer, have work done, driving, wreck, speed and more so the next owner can see the entire cars life. Used to sell yotas. All this is true.
It must be transmitting over wifi and/or possibly their own transmitter/receiver system. Never connect your car to any wifi. Pick up some sort of cheap EMF detector and search your car for any transmission to track down the location of an antenna. Then cut the wire to the antenna.
My comment:
This is extremely disturbing and needs to be dealt with. Now we have to be careful what we say in what we felt was the privacy of our own vehicles. If we had a private conversation with a close friend while in the car and we discussed something political, that conversation could be recorded and shared with the government.
It is also disturbing that millions of conversations could be recorded and shared with an Artificial Intelligence (A.I) computer system. The A.I. could track the trends, opinions, views and plans of millions of people. We would have no idea how that information was used, but it is nothing good, and should be considered nefarious.
In my latest book: A.I.-Threat Unseen, I dealt with this subject when the two main characters in the book were being tracked in Houston. They had to escape the city on old school motorcycles to prevent being tracked and followed. The car they were using earlier was stolen by thieves and the A.I computer sent a drone to destroy the car.
The federal government at any time could not only be monitoring where ever we drive, it can shut down our car. Those in power are now starting to use hi-tech advances to control the people more and more. GE
