April has already been a month of many shocks to the world. Many forecasters, astrologers, and analysts are pointing to April 20 as a turning point, although the month is full of big changes so far. Trump mentioned April 20 being important in relation to the war in Ukraine and negotiations a few weeks back.

I have found an essay about this time circulating in some small circles and would like to post it here (with permission) for those who may be interested:

"The Poppy Shaman and the 2 Easters

I had an encounter with the poppy shaman many years ago on a Good Friday but did not even come close to recognizing what it was. I had been raised as a Catholic and had become used to observing a respectful period of silence or meditation between the hours of noon and 3 pm local time on Good Fridays in memory of the events of Holy Week. Later, as I drifted from Catholicism to esoteric Christianity I began to appreciate natural events that happened during Holy Week. In particular, there is the belief that the events of Christ’s life, particularly during Holy Week echo in Nature, stronger and stronger from year to year; from millennia to millennia. In short, by observing Nature and by studying it, you can get a glimpse of Christ and his progressing influence over the earth, especially at Easter.
This is not one-sided, there are polarities here. Simply speaking as the good becomes greater so does evil. The two polar opposites are linked but not quite like being opposite faces of the same coin. This is not the time for a deep discussion, just a pointing to a polar relationship between the two that will aid in understanding what will soon come to pass during the month of April.
On a Good Friday many decades ago there was the beginning of a movement to cut back or remove Christian elements from society. Good Thursday and Good Friday were once holidays. A large local institution had just eliminated these holidays from its calendar. At noon a powerful Texas style norther blew in as I was in the garden observing the time between noon and 3 pm. It turned into a tremendous dust storm; the sky became very dark and choking orange dust was everywhere and the wind howled. Visibility was nil. The leaders of the institution panicked and closed it down, telling everyone to leave about one pm that day. For years after Good Friday was put back on the calendar as a holiday. Around 3 pm the storm abruptly ended, the sky was clear, and an impressive layer of orange dust coated everything. There was a poppy plant in the garden that had opened a bloom that morning-poppies tend to have the blooms open for only a day and then the petals drop off. After the storm I found the petals scattered on the ground, blown off by the wind. I remembered that poppy and its purple petals very vividly as I recalled the events over the years. I now realize that this memory of the poppy during the events of that Good Friday was somehow linked to the poppy shaman, a sign of his coming contact.
Several years back while sitting in my garden a vision of the shaman appeared. I saw him mostly in a mountainous region, lots of evergreen trees are around. The poppy shaman lived perhaps 200 years ago, perhaps more in regions of eastern Europe and Siberia. Perhaps he has reincarnated, perhaps he is highly evolved, spiritually speaking; there is even a chance that he has found a way to extend his lifespan for hundreds of years, I do not know. He seems to have alchemical knowledge and a great knowledge of herbalism, and especially concerning the opium poppy plant, Papaver somniferum. The alchemist Paracelsus was apparently the first to prepare a tincture of opium in the West. Over the years it became standard for relief of extreme pain in the western medical tradition and various active components have been isolated and also used medically such as morphine. In my youth tincture of opium was a household medicine given for diarrhea and a variety of other ailments. The poppy shaman represented a great influence on the culture of eastern Europe. If you think of Johnny Appleseed traveling all over the United States spreading apple seeds and the spreading the culture of growing apples and the phrase ‘as American as apple pie’ or ‘mom’s apple pie’ and ‘an apple a day keeps the doctor away’ and then transfer the concept to ‘as eastern European as a poppyseed pastry’ or ‘tincture of opium keeps the doctor away’ you get a sense for the influence of the poppy shaman.
Recently the poppy shaman has communicated to me the significance of what he calls the two Easters and that this is twofold in turn: the first meaning is that Russian Orthodox Easter and Western Christian Easter coincide this year on April 20, a rare occurrence being noted by many. The second meaning is a contrast of Orthodox Easter a year ago and of Orthodox Easter this year. In the first case the overall effect is to enhance the penetration of the events of Holy Week into earthly, everyday affairs.
The second case, comparing Orthodox Easter last year with this year’s Easter centers around Russian events which is not surprising since the Russia is essentially the homeland of the poppy shaman. In particular the focus is on Putin’s public appearance at Easter celebration last year. He participates in this celebration and then stands stoically with a few tears forming and then running down his face. A very profound sadness is shown when Easter is normally a joyous event. What could he be thinking of, what could he be focusing on? Clearly big events are coming, tragic events, likely many people will have to suffer and even die, even an expansion of the war where Russia will have to fight for its survival. During last summer Russia was invaded by NATO and the pace of missile attacks and drones on the Russian population did indeed increase. But on a personal basis, Putin knows he will likely have to face giving the orders to launch an attack on NATO in order that Russia may survive, in order that there will be a Russian Civilization in the cultural age of Aquarius (lags the astronomical age by several hundred years) to lead the age of brotherhood, the age of Philadelphia. Putin is not thinking of military setbacks or losing Russian territory, he is thinking in terms of 1000 years. He knows he must not fail to give the order to launch the cold fusion bombs on the Oreshnik missiles to attack Europe when NATO attacks and if that fails he must order a full scale nuclear attack. Thinking about having to give the order that causes a billion people to die is not easy. Make no mistake here, this is not Putin’s thinking alone-it is no less than the Archangel of Russia that insists that the Russian Civilization will come about. So the big message here from the poppy shaman is that the clock is actually less than one second to midnight, will anyone wake up to stop this? And that there is an urgency to facing events that may transpire between Easter of last year and Easter of this year. I think that many people realize the world has changed immensely and irreversibly in the past few months and not just due to Trump, this has been building for a very long time. Remember people sleepwalked (it is of interest to note that the opium poppy, Papaver somniferum, is associated with sleep or a sleepy awareness so the poppy shaman has something to say about being asleep.) through the beginnings of World War I and II, not paying attention to what the political and other powers were unleashing on the world. There is a common principle in science-in order to solve a problem it must be clearly stated and described otherwise no solution is possible and so a further description of the problem is in order.
The first case, the coincidence of Orthodox and Western Easter, gives hope that a way out can be found, and the poppy shaman points to the events of Holy Week as casting light on the present situation to enable seeing what is going on and also to appreciate that Christ is also working on what is happening in world events. And more strongly than He has ever worked before. It must be appreciated that there is polarity between good and evil, commonly we see evil, although without understanding it and do not see or appreciate the working of the good in the world. Thinking in polarities helps. In this time of great danger there is also a great safety. The clearer you can see one the clearer you can see the other.

So what kind of events from 2000 years ago might be imprinted on the events of this Easter season; what might they appear like? I will mention a few that come to mind.
Reflection on New Testament descriptions of Holy Week reveals that one of the big events in the beginning of this time period was the purging of the money changers from the Temple. There are also accounts of Christ turning the tables on the money changers at the beginning of his ministry. So there were at least 2 occasions that this happened. The attacks were premeditated; Christ fashioned whips before coming to the Temple. It seems to be the only record of Christ resorting to violence. A point I am trying to stress here, the actions of Christ then have now been imprinted on events of present day and this events concerning the money changers have a special charge due in part to Christ’s resort to violence.
The money changers can have several representations in modern civilization. A common translation is to say it represents bankers and is likely one of the reasons for Christianity coming up with usury laws. However loans were not given out by the money changers so much as they converted one currency into another; a special currency was used in the Temple and great profits could be accrued by the moneychangers as they converted currencies from other places into something that could be used to purchase animals for sacrifice. So to the idea of bankers we should add the idea that money changers functioned something like today’s SWIFT system in international trade and also that there was a primary currency whose value was to be defended much like today’s dollar.
Just since the first of April we have seen explosions of attacks on the current exchange of money for trades. Sanctions, tariffs, the rise of BRICS and the trading of money without converting to dollars are in the forefront of news. The tables of the money changers are being overturned and not just by Trump alone. I expect this turbulence to increase are we get close to Easter. Note here for reference the Federal Reserve is sometimes called ‘the Temple’, as most of the world has gone from worshipping God to worshipping the dollar which is sustained by the Fed-temple.
So I think the global economic wars occurring now and turning the tables on the world economy are synchronous with Christ overturning the tables of the moneychangers 2000 years ago. Also note Christ was betrayed for30 pieces of silver. It would not be surprising to me to see some strange events involving silver very soon, the recent rise in price is noteworthy.
Christ was judged and sentenced to death. On the physical plane in today’s world judges worldwide are asserting their judgments and their power, over the people. Politicians have been removed from assuming power in France, Brazil, Germany, Romania, Pakistan, and many other places, going against what the people vote for. Using the principle of polarity, if the power and influence of judges on the material plane is increasing then expect an increase in the power of judges in the spiritual world. There are many representations of Christ in Christianity as a judge, a judge of the actions of everyone. Some consider Him to be the Lord of Karma, who can forgive sins or mitigate bad karma. So if judgments are increasing in the physical world as Easter approaches, so is the judgment of Christ and for at least some, the forgiveness of sins and karma. These judgments can be individual or they can be collective as judgments for nations as a whole. Judgments are coming and maybe not what everyone expects-that is they may be surprised how the various nations are judged.
There were a series of unusual natural events during the crucifixion: a shocking darkness, a strong earthquake, and the fracturing of the black cube in the holy of holies in the Temple in Jerusalem. The Bible reports a great fear in the crowds in Jerusalem during this time. It is likely that many will experience something like this during Holy Week this year. The splitting of the cube has been interpreted as the ending of God’s covenant with Israel by some and so Israel may experience some setbacks on their plans for expansion in the middle east. Will we see ground shaking natural events during Holy Week; will Israel suffer a great setback during Holy Week, perhaps a separation of Israel from God?
Easter Sunday is about the Resurrection. There are many divergent opinions among Christians and others about this. For Esoteric Christianity all Christians must build or develop the Resurrection Body of Christ, achieving a kind of immortality by overriding the physical body by developing the spiritual bodies. To me a real Christian is someone who can walk through physical walls and I am merely studying to become a Christian. The Resurrection Body is a model to work at achieving. The polar opposite offered by the opposition powers is to achieve physical immortality by transferring the contents of the brain to computers, becoming wise by merging with AI and achieving immortality that way, as long as the electrical current is not switched off. There is a choice here and it would be nice if people were aware of it.
During Holy Week 33 AD a variety of lawfare techniques was used to get a judgment against Jesus. After the false testimony and conviction Pilate offered the Jews one last chance to save Jesus from the judgment established by the Jewish leadership and I refer to the familiar story of choosing Barabbas over Jesus. Here we have the Jewish leadership sending agents into the assembled crowd as they are to voice vote on the release of a prisoner. These agents convince the crowd to turn against Jesus based on rumors, gossip, and lies. We could compare it to a modern mass media propaganda victory where narrative prevails over truth. By a strange coincidence the modern mass media has long been referred to as the Jewish media due to the religious affiliations of its owners-they are nearly 100 per cent Jewish.
Barabbas would be viewed today as something of populist or a member of ANTIFA-he was in jail for fighting against the hegemon Rome and trying to liberate Israel and he was popular with many. Jesus had rejected the possibility of becoming a military leader giving Israel military victories against its enemies and also establishing a worldly kingdom. The people were now offered a choice: choose a military leader to establish an Israeli kingdom or choose a spiritual leader to guide the spirituality of the people. I view it as likely that Easter 2025 can be the representation of the choice for the planet as a whole: choose to follow a spiritual leader and pursue spiritual development or choose a military leader to attempt to provide economic and physical security by leading us to the brink of nuclear war-and beyond. Which will it be; will the crowd shout for Barabbas or Jesus? Will people listen to and follow the mass media and make the wrong choice or will people listen to their own true inner voice?
Some say Christ will intervene and stop nuclear war, I don’t think so. You can still develop spiritually if everyone is reduced to living in caves. You cannot develop spiritually if you are neurolinked to supercomputers. Civilization is a gift, it is very precious, it is rarely appreciated, it must be continually renewed by sacrifice, and it always hangs by a thread. This Easter we are at the point where that thread might break.
So the poppy shaman points to something symbolic in the coincidence of Orthodox and Western Easter: This represents something of a joining of east and the west or even Russia and the west. Since the poppy shaman originally resided in Russia it is not surprising he has a focus on Russia. At this time since European leaders are demanding a war with Russia this is basically a question of whether the US and Russia will become partners: economically, culturally, politically, and militarily. A big hurdle. Currently meetings are scheduled between the leaders of the two countries. If the populations of the east and west polarize and hates each other, this will support those who want to bring about WWIII. If the populations of east and west refuse to follow the mass media and refuse to generate the hatred needed for war then perhaps it can be avoided, no matter what the governmental leaders attempt. The mass media will advocate for a solution to world problems through violence and war, just as Barabbas did 2000 years ago. Barabbas or Christ, which will we choose?

Today the first purple poppy in the poppy patch in my garden bloomed indicating to me it is time to write and share this."
