Throughout the year, not a lot is mentioned about Archangel Gabriel unless it is during Christmas or today, the celebration of the "Annunciation to Mary" that we hear the many readings about when he appears to Mary and announces that she will become the Mother of God and says "HAIL MARY" "Full of Grace"...meaning free from sin, born without original sin that the rest of us inherited from Adam and Eve.

Most refer to the Angel Gabriel as the "Messenger".

"Gabriel" means STRENGTH OF GOD...so that is a lot more than being a messenger.

If St. Michael the Archangel, the WARRIOR is constantly fighting demons, and is always at Mary's side when she appears, the other Archangels have different duties and purpose.

Archangel Gabriel is the Angel of Jesus Christ.

The one HE sends to gives messages. The Protector of those who represent and do the works of Jesus here on earth which is the STRENGTH of God reaching down from the Heavens to nurture it's people. The Creation that is so loved by God that He sent His Son to die a severe horrific death and who at any time could have ended the whole thing and dropped all of his accusers, torturers and murderers to the ground in an instant, like he did when they came to arrest Him..

Angel Gabriel could have been the one who was with Jesus during His time on earth, his fasting for 40 days, with Him while satan was trying to tempt Him, and throughout His life...giving Jesus STRENGTH to get through what He had to endure.

He probably cried as He stood there next to Jesus feeling helpless to save Him as He died on the Cross.

Archangel Gabriel is more than a messenger, he is one of the powerful Seven Archangels who stand before God and do many works for Him and for us. We can call on the Angels.

They will come...there are billions of them. Armies that God created and not any of them are alike in any way except for the Choir they belong to, which there are NINE.

Ask them for help. Your Guardian Angel feels ignored sometimes. Just don't name your Angel. Each has it's own descriptive name given by God which is their "attribute" that God knew YOU needed the most in your life.

So let your Angel feel needed!!

and although he is available ...Archangel Gabriel rolls with Jesus!
