My comment: In a totalitarian government in control, people can be killed off without any backlash from the enslaved populace. During the covid pandemic there were a variety of ways the government employed to control the people and compartmentalize the mass deaths.
Some families were locked into their apartments, by welding the doors shut. The results of deaths inside the apartment was never revealed to the public. In addition to that, millions of Chinese were transported out of the cities to special internment camps. In the camps they placed them inside sealed makeshift buildings smaller than a shipping container. And when they died they were removed and cremated. The number of cremation a day sky rocketed and families of the dead never learned the details of their relatives.

Before the pandemic I was able to read the speeches of major Chinese Generals that laid out a long term plan to cull the masses and "get rid" of hundreds of millions of their own citizens. This was in addition to their plans to use germ warfare against the US and eventually take over the America without dropping a bomb. They wanted to preserve the farmlands to be settled by their own people.

The danger of communism, which is totalitarianism as explained by President Reagan, is a far reaching danger to freedom and a one way trip into a full takeover of societies. Removing the rights of the people, controlling the press and taking away the guns and any ability to be self-sufficient allows an all powerful government to have god-like control over the people.
