Tommy lost his fight in the Royal Courts of Justice yesterday. His application for an expedited judicial review into his current treatment at Woodhill prison was denied by Mr Justice Chamberlain.

The application pointed to the fact that Tommy, although a 'civil' prisoner, was being treated 'unusually and inhumanely'due to serving time in total isolation, which is causing serious harm to his mental health.

He has now spent nearly 150 days in solitary confinement.

Despite an independent mental health expert verifying a resurfacing of complex PTSD due to his imprisonment in solitary, along with a diagnosis of ADHD, the judge ruled there was no case to answer, and a judicial review will not proceed.

Four government lawyers argued that Tommy is being treated as well as possible due to his high profile and political ideology, claiming he has more privileges than most inmates. However, the legal battle is far from over. The government argued that Tommy has extra time out of his cell, works three times a week, and has a DVD player, among other privileges.

In reality, these 'extra' privileges were only granted last week, after five months without them. This didn't stop government lawyers from making their case or mainstream media from reporting on his detention as if it were a holiday camp when it's anything but.

Less than 24 hours after the ruling, Tommy has not 'been to work today,' and his phone privileges have been revoked for this afternoon and evening.

Tommy's legal team has submitted an appeal to the courts regarding his original sentencing for contempt of court, scheduled for April 11th, we will keep you updated on that.
